This was the first rule my pottery teacher gave me. That rule, and the process of pottery itself, has taught me patience and the ability to let go.

There are so many stages in creating a single piece, each full of opportunities for mistakes and learning. I love that I can start again and carry what I’ve learned into the next piece, making it even better.
